To say it is a faithful adaptation of its source material is an understatement; it shows the event and its aftermath in as raw and authentic a reproduction as possible. Long gone are the days when the SSR might have liked certain aspects about the Chernobyl accident to be left unmentioned. Anyone else watch Chernobyl on hbo? I just finished the first episode out of the 3 out right now and itвЂ™s pretty good. ItвЂ™s horrifying but itвЂ™s so fascinating seeing how much damage was done but i still feel like a bad person for wanting to see how they die lol. Its incredible. I feel its way scarier than any horror Ive seen purely because I know it really happened. The denialism and stubborn leadership in the early moments was so frustrating. Then when they were laying it out to Gobachev in episode 2 what the world was facing if they didnt act immediately. Amazing piece of tv. I just read the wiki about it. I think IвЂ™ll check it out tonight. I really want to watch it because I love science and this is an event that IвЂ™ve never known the details about.
